亨德密特 has been hailed as “touching 和 expressive” by the Washington Times 和 has performed with the San Diego, 犹他州的节日, 俄亥俄州的光, 和 Fargo-Moorhead Operas as well as the 明尼苏达州esota Orchestra. Recently, Paul appeared in the title roles of 伪君子 with L和locked Opera 在堪萨斯城 和 詹尼·Schicchi with 音乐 on Site in Wichita. He also portrayed Marcello in Opera180’s unique 和 award-winning production of 《波希米亚 在堪萨斯城.

Equally comfortable in musical theatre 和 opera, the Omaha native was named “a remarkable talent” by BroadwayWorld Kansas City for his performance of Bobby in Stephen Sondheim’s 公司 with The Barn Players. He has received a “Ruby” award from Robidoux Resident 剧院 (RRT) for his portrayal of Sky Masterson in 男孩和娃娃 和lumi Beauty 和 the Beast in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Weeks before the great shutdown of 2020, he appeared as Jamie in a timely production of The Last Five Years in which all rehearsals had been conducted online.

An active concert artist 和 recitalist, Paul has appeared as a soloist with Kansas City’s Midwest Chamber Ensemble in Gabriel Fauré’s 安魂曲 本杰明·C.S. 博伊尔的大合唱 To One in Paradise. Recent vocal recitals with pianist Nathanael May have featured Dominick Argento’s The Andrée Expedition布拉姆斯的 Vier ernste Gesänge科普兰的 Old American Songs, 和 songs by Norwegian Composers Edvard Grieg 和 Halfdan Kjerulf. Paul also appears on a recording of Bach arias published by the International Trumpet Guild 和 as Baron Weps in the 俄亥俄州的光 Opera’s recording of Carl Zeller’s 的Birdseller.

Paul has a growing resume as both a stage director 和 music director. He made his European debut as both singer 和 stage director in Pergolesi’s La serva padrona with the Grumo Festival in 2014. He translated 和 directed Humperdinck’s opera Hansel 和 Gretel for the University of South Dakota, 和 has directed opera scenes at several Universities. He received a commendation from the Kennedy Center American Collegiate 剧院 Festival (Region 5) for his music direction of 春天的觉醒 at Missouri Western State University. He continues to collaborate with RRT, 和 recently served as music director for 假日酒店 和 It’s a Wonderful Life.

A passionate 和 dedicated educator, Paul has over 25 years of teaching experience, 和 has taught at Missouri Western State University, Georgia College 和 State University, Concordia College (Moorhead, 明尼苏达州.), The University of South Dakota, 和 Omaha North High School. 他毕业 优等生 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas with minors in Chemistry, 数学, 和 German 和 with honors in the liberal arts.
